18 July 2017, brand Teo&Bia finally took shape giving life to Teo&Bia farm.
In province of Alessandria, where the sweet slopes of the hills of Monferrato start, there is locality Squarzolo, a small valley in the more remote area of San Salvatore Monferrato. In this zone almost pristine at all, there are 29 hectares of land divided into flat land, hill and a small part of woods.
Chosen for their great potential given by the geological conformation, they will be used almost totally for cultivation of kernels from which we will collect the precious fruit to turn into hazelnut cream. The ambitious project to create a production chain in which hazelnut is the absolute protagonist see now the begin of his achievement, also thanks to the presence of the old farmhouse and the others locals immersed in the heart of the future hazy that will be converted into workshop.
In a part we are dealing with the drying, shelling and roasting of the hazelnut, while in the other we are going to produce hazelnut cream. Lands left uncultivated for two years before our arrival have already started the conversion into biological.
Teo&Bia is not only a point of reference when you talk about simplicity and taste in processing ability of raw materials, but it’s also a philosophy that involves a certain way of thinking and acting. We are ready to accept the challenge of the new cultivation methods using homeopathy, electromagnetic waves and music! What appears absurd for convenience and indifference for us it isn’t.
We contacted best Italian experts, technicians and doctors with the curiosity of finding out new opportunities in agricultural field to guarantee the respect of the land, the customer care and the valorization of the product. These meetings brought the hoped-for result bringing us to discover the everlasting possibilities we will can seize to become pioneers of environmental protection and supporters of an environmentally sustainable world that only thanks to a repentine change at all levels can become possible.
